Charmed Dogs is proud to offer Training Programs to the people of Colorado Springs, Colorado and the surrounding areas. If you are not local, please reach out to us for ways we can help you and your dog from afar! 

Charmed Dogs is dedicated to unleashing your dog's potential! We understand that every family is different, however, there are fundamental skills that can help every family with their individual goals for their dog. We have created several training programs covering the foundational skills needed to give your canine the best possible life! Bettering the communication between owner and pet leading to an enriched life is the goal of every Charmed Dog program!

PUPPY PREP (For Dogs Under 5 months old)

 Achieving a positive first few months in a puppy's life will be crucial to giving them the best chance at a balanced and fulfilled life. The puppy primer is the best way to give your new puppy the best start in life! Getting a puppy can be a major adjustment for a family, this course provides you with the proper tools to give your dog the very best! The puppy primer covers family structure, basic obedience, manners, and socialization so that your puppy grows up to be a well-rounded and confident dog! 

Some general examples of things we cover are:

  • Puppy behavioral problems such as nipping, jumping, humping, play biting, chewing, and house training.
  • ​Introductions to obedience such as how to walk on a leash, sit, come, wait.
  • ​Crate training
  • Socialization and desensitization to distractions in the world outside of your home.
The Puppy Primer program will include three 30 minute private lessons and three socialization days. During the private lessons we will work on foundational obedience as well as provide you with the proper tools to implement household manners and structure with your puppy. During the socialization days your puppy will be dropped off to socialize with balanced adult dogs, meet new people, and experience multiple new environments. This will help your puppy learn how to play appropriately with other dogs and show them how to grow up to be an amazing dog themselves! 

In addition to the private lessons and socialization days, the Puppy Primer will include a minimum of four new socialization and desensitization experiences every day. Socialization is a great bonding platform so it doesn't stop there!  We will also provide you with a comprehensive socialization calendar detailing awesome outings and ways to bond with your dog to set them up for success later in life!

1-On-1 Zoom Training

Charmed Dogs is proud to offer 1-on-1 Zoom Training as the perfect addition to any Charmed Dog's Training Program. Zoom training is a great tool for our out-of-town or busy clients to utilize in order to further their dog's enrichment through the power of training! Zoom lessons are an amazing addition to receive even further 1-on-1 attention from our Lead Trainers. Zooms are used to fine tune your dog's new lifestyle by troubleshooting issues and overcoming obstacles that might occur in your individual training journey. 

Charmed Foundational Training

Dog training is all about integrating your dog into your life and daily schedule! Here at Charmed Dogs we love private lessons for this exact reason. Private lessons give us the opportunity to work with you and your dog in your own environment!  Our Foundational Training program can take place at your home, a local park, or anywhere that would benefit you and your dog the most.

 Some ideas of things that might be covered during these training sessions include but are not limited to:

  • How to walk nicely on a leash
  • ​Sit
  • ​Place
  • ​Come
  • ​Stay
  • ​Wait
  • ​Leave-It
  • ​Off
  • ​Appropriate greeting of strangers
  • ​Tools to improve your relationship with your dog
This program allows for a great deal of flexibility and individualization. The first step in achieving a more enriched life with your dog is scheduling a free initial consultation with one of our Head Trainers. During the 30 minute consultation we will get to know you and your dog, your goals for training, and answer any questions your might have about our program!

Charmed Group Class 

Here at Charmed Dogs we offer a unique and user friendly option for Group Classes. Our Group class is a 6 month membership, offering two classes per week, so you get the benefit of a full 6 months of training!!! We will start you off with two private lessons to provide a solid foundation for you and your dog to join in on the Group Class fun! Classes will be every Wednesday from 6:30pm-7:30pm and every Saturday from 10:00am-11:00am. The unique membership format allows you to learn at your own pace and offers the advantages of not only learning from our instructors but also your more advanced classmates. Our goal with this class is to equip you and your dog to handle real world training challenges. We believe learning should be fun, so we utilize multiple training games to keep things easy and enjoyable!
